It’s finally spring, which means we can all officially bust out our white denim without a guilty conscience. (I mean, I’ve been known to wear white denim all year long, but at least it’s more socially acceptable now). For this look, I’m super excited to partner with Stitch Fix, a personal stylist delivery service which allows you to have clothing pieces hand-picked by a personal stylist delivered to your door. Anything you like, you keep and are charged for, and anything you don’t, you send back.
I’ll admit that because I do all of my shopping on my own, on a regular basis, I had reservations. I’m very particular about certain things and I wasn’t sure I would love everything that was sent to me. To my surprise I loved every single piece… I actually even paired them all together for this post because of how cute they looked together.
I first filled out a style profile and was sure to mention my body type and things that I didn’t want (ie: no leather, suede, silk, or cashmere fabrics), which I think really helped nail my style and personal preferences.

White jeans can be a tricky endeavor if you’re not used to them. It’s very important that you find a pair that fit your body type for the most flattering look. For example, I’m 5’3 so I tend to have a problem with jeans being too long. Because of this, I always look for jeans that are either cropped or ankle length, so I don’t have to get them hemmed.
I also have more of a straight body type, so when I wear something tight on the bottom like skinny jeans, I like to balance them out with a loose-fitting top. This particular top has a nice print to it that ties in the white without being too matchy-matchy.
Finally, I think adding a third piece such as a jacket or a duster vest really completes a white denim look. White denim can really stand out in an unflattering way if it’s not styled correctly, but adding a third piece really softens the look and makes everything look cohesive.
