Believe it or not this “skirt” is actually a pair of shorts! I absolutely love the fact that it looks like a skirt but has the functionality of shorts — wouldn’t it be cool if all skirts had that feature? The cut of these shorts is so flattering and they can really be styled so many different ways. We shot these photos in the Venice canals (one of my favorite spots ever) so it felt appropriate to style the shorts with a white eyelet top and some raffia details for a sophisticated beachy look.
The clutch is actually a thrift store find from this trip to Palm Springs with my girl Abby. It was a DOLLAR you guys. A dollar. It’s hard to beat that! I love the retro vibe of it, and yellow is such a happy color to add to any outfit.

Whenever I bust out a vintage piece like that bag, I wonder why I don’t do more thrifting! Some of my all-time favorite pieces were thrifted and I think the thrill of the hunt makes the finds even that much more special.
On a non-vintage note — these shoes are just too fabulous. They are vegan, affordable, and perfect for spring. I love the heel height for pretty much any occasion, so you guys should definitely get a pair before they sell out! They certainly look more expensive than Target sandals so I have a feeling they’ll sell out soon.
I hope you have a great day, and thanks for stopping by!
