The “Trendy” Fashion Pieces Worth Having In Your Closet

Are we sick of this blazer yet?! Believe me, there’s a reason you’ve seen it here, here and now in this post and that’s because this is one of my favorite purchases of all time. I wear it with everything. I thought this outfit perfectly embodied my favorite trends going around right now as they are all pieces I tend to work in with almost every single outfit.

The Cropped Flare

I’ve mentioned this before and I stand by it: If you’re going to buy one trendy pair of jeans it needs to be the cropped flare. This cut looks good one everyone and is the perfect style to transition us from winter into spring. My favorite way to wear cropped flares is either with a heeled bootie (above) or with a pointed-toe slide.

The Beret

Holy smokes I had a really hard time finding a vegan beret! So many use wool as the fabric. I finally found this vegan leather one and while it was a little edgier than I would have picked for myself, it’s been fun finding ways to incorporate it into my style. Your future bad hair day will be thankful for the beret, trust me.

Cat-eye Sunglasses

Cat-eye sunglasses are SUPER trendy right now but I am certainly a life-long fan. I love the smaller, more retro versions as well. The pair I’m wearing in this post is great because they are not too small that they aren’t functional anymore, but are smaller enough that they don’t overtake the whole face.

Gold “Coin” Necklaces

These are the perfect addition to any outfit. I especially love pairing them with super casual things like t-shirts to dress them up a bit. I wear one almost daily, so definitely worth the purchase for me.

The Checked Blazer

Obviously, I love the checked blazer for reasons stated above. I can’t wait to style it with denim shorts and a tee in the springtime.
