Ah Monday, we meet again!  I get excited to bust out tweed every fall, as it’s one of those fabrics that just don’t work in the summertime.  This skirt hits at such a flattering length, showing the slimmest part of the leg.  I love that it’s short but not an inappropriate length.  Add a classic white pussybow blouse (terrible name, amazing blouse) that everyone needs in their closet and you have a classic outfit that will work for nearly any occasion.
On a personal note, this weekend was relaxing and enjoyable. On Friday night I had some of my best girlfriends over for a “sleepover” themed wine night.  We all wore our best PJs (which has made me realize, I need some more cheesy PJs), ordered thai food takeout, and each girl brought a bottle of their favorite wine.  These types of nights are my favorite, as you can’t put a pricetag on good company and conversation.
On Saturday, Jesse and I spontaneously bought tickets to the Cirque du Soleil Kurios show.  It is playing in our area, and we love Cirque du Soleil shows so we scoured our local Craigslist for good deals on tickets.  I won’t lie, I was a little (read: extremely) sketched out about buying tickets on Craigslist, but it ended up working out.  (I highly recommend reading articles about scams on Craigslist before doing this yourself).  The show’s venue was really small which made it intimate and extremely cool.  It is so fun to be transported to another world in shows like that, and I’m so glad we went.
Thanks for reading!
