Pillow Refresh With Motif Pillows

It’s official, I have an obsession with pillows.  Jesse has cut me off from adding any more pillows to our house.  There’s nothing I love more than a plethora of pillows on the bed.  It provides such a cozy and luxurious feel that is unattainable with anything else.  Ever since I was younger I always had at least 4 decorative pillows in addition to my regular pillows, and not much has changed.  I am thrilled to team up with Motif Pillows to create a pillow refresh in our master bedroom, and hope you guys love the final look as much as I do!

I love to mix patterns and colors while still maintaining symmetry.  The key when mixing prints is to make sure that there is at least one color in common.  You also want to put large patterns next to smaller patterns rather than large on large or small on small (notice how small the pattern is on the middle pillow compared to the leopard and the geometric patterns).  I really wanted leopard print in this room because I think it looks gorgeous with the peacock blue headboard, and ties in the nightstands, so I couldn’t resist the velvet leopard pillows from Motif Pillows.

I am beyond pleased with the quality of the pillows.  I can tell I’ll have these cases for years to come, which is not always the case with pillow covers.  A lot of times pillow hoarders like myself end up with a lot of useless cases that will never be used again.  These covers are made with a thick, high-quality designer fabric and are sewn to perfection – unlike any pillow covers I’ve ever seen.

Even the dogs are fans, and that’s what’s really important in this household.  I’ll leave the fact that they match the pillow covers perfectly up to fate.   I’m really hoping to find some unique mirrors to flank either side of the bed, and will definitely update you guys when I add those.  It’s been tough finding the perfect size that is the right amount of masculine and feminine.
