In my future permanent home you can bet your bottom I’ll have molding on the walls. I think it instantly gives a room an “expensive” look.
How easy is it to add? You ask. Well, if you remember my tutorial for my side tables (they are now white – see them here), you know you can buy molding at your local hardware store for fairly cheap. Add wood glue, nails, and some fresh paint and voila! You have an insta-glam & insta-chic room.
I would love to do all white or grey in the living room to go behind the equestrian print, but I’ll have to wait until the next home, as our current apartment has insanely high ceilings, which dub it near impossible to paint.

I really like it! There's almost something regal about it. As far as DIY my mom has done a bunch of it at my parents home so I'd be open to giving it a shot… with her help most likely! 🙂
