Well friends, I think it’s safe to say the 70’s are back in action – and I’m not mad about it! I am a huge fan of peasant tops, fringe, and prints so I don’t have to step too far out of my comfort zone with the newest trends.
I will say, I was hesitant to try the faux suede trend. I think I may have had a faux suede dress in the 90’s but I wouldn’t really count that as delving into the trend. I was really pleased to come across this affordable faux suede circle skirt from ASOS because it’s the exact silhouette I needed for my body type. Very few pencil skirts work for me, and even a-line skirts can give a boxy look. I like that because this particular skirt is faux suede, it’s not incredibly heavy or uncomfortable to wear, unlike other suede skirts I’ve tried.
