Living Room Before & After

I have yet to show you guys any “finished” rooms in the apartment yet.  Mostly because there is only one…and I still hesitate to say “finished” because I have a strong feeling it’s not going to stay like this for long.

Never the less, you deserve pictures, so pictures you will get.
BEFORE

AFTER

So anyways, there you have it.  The living room.  Now you know where I watch all my trashy Real Housewives shows and drink hot apple cider and am completely immobile for a few hours at a time.
There are already so many things I want to change!  Do any of you suffer from this same problem?  I wonder if I will ever finish a room and think “yessss… this is it” for over 3 months.
I think I also have issues that I’m not able to fix… but that just comes along with renting rather than owning.  First… the beige walls are killing me Larry.  I could probably have them painted, but take a second to look at the height of that wall and also note that all surrounding walls would need to be painted as well.  Not looking to spend a fortune here.  Also, the carpet is fugs.  But, what can you do.

There are quite a few DIYs in here, so if you want to know more, see below:

Oh my gosh it looks soo good! Great job! I saw a little sea urchin at target designed by Nate Berkus. I just might have to go back and pick it up (if I don't want to make my own.) thanks for the inspiration!

Ok so Hannah, looking around this room, I remembered all your DIYs in the past few months! How cool is it to be able to look around and think "yeah, I did that and I created that!" Waaaaaay better than spending a fortune on interior design pieces and it looks waaaaay cuter!!! Love it girl!
