Office/Vanity Space Update

Recently I’ve had some major life changes that have required me to work from home (more on that in a different post), and I’ve been working to get a home office set up in our home.

Jesse has been working from home for a long time, so we had already reserved the guest bedroom for his office space.  Luckily, I already had a vanity set up in our master bedroom, and it works really well as a desk at the same time!  I actually love using it for both, and think it is a fantastic solution for those who are working with a small space situation.

My vanity was already set up for a vanity (mirror, acrylic makeup holders, etc.) so I teamed up with Quill.com to add some office supplies to make the space appropriate for working as well. The desk/vanity pieces are from IKEA, as well as the side shelving.  I love having the extra space with the side shelving to display the office items.

Quill has recently collaborated with Cynthia Rowley on an office supply line which is right up my alley. My bedroom is already decorated in jewel tones, black, white and gold, which is exactly what the new line consists of.

One of my favorite things from the line is the adorable carton the copy paper comes in.  It’s way too cute to throw away so I’ve used it to hold and hide documents and files I don’t need to use every day.  I love how it brings in a pop of color.

Let me know what you think of the new “office” in the comments, and be sure to check out the entire Quill x Cynthia Rowley line here! (P.S. Some items are not yet available on Quill.com, so stay tuned as they will be  coming soon!)
This post is brought to you in collaboration with Quill.com, all opinions are 100% my own.

I love all the hints of purple I'm seeing!

White furniture just gives such a nice clean feel to the desk I think. But I would prefer a separate office area somewhere else in the house rather than in the bedroom. More conducive I feel!
