Splurge or Save

Happy New Year!  I hope you all had a fun celebration and aren’t still nursing a champagne hangover. 

J and I went to a family friend’s party and had so much fun.  All of J’s college roommates and their significant others were there and we loved hanging out like old times and reminiscing.  This weekend J’s sister is coming to stay with us and we could not be more excited!  We love having a full house – and having visitors encourages us to be tourists in our own city. 

 Now back to the splurge or save!  I have to say I’d save in all of these cases.  I’m definitely not opposed to splurging on shoes though, so if I had to splurge it would be on the D’Orsay pumps.

    I want those ASOS rings so bad, they are lovely. I don't mine splurging or saving.. depends on the longevity of the item and which looks better. You might surprise yourself!

    I love these types of posts. While I'm always looking for a good deal, I agree, sometimes with shoes it's not worth it to save in the long run, particularly cheap shoes don't last as long or are just super uncomfortable. Great post 🙂 Happy New Year!
