Wedding Season Attire for Under $100

This time last year I had not been to a single wedding (unless you want to count the one I was in as a flower girl when I was 5), and this year Jesse and I have 3 to attend.  I’m so excited and am already working on collecting a good group of dresses to wear to weddings.  I still need one or two more for this season, and I’m currently obsessing over the above picks.  I love how the scalloped dress is a much more affordable version of the popular J.Crew dress, but I think the halter dress stole my heart.  I love the print and the colors.  I think you definitely have to keep in mind the venue when choosing what dress to wear, whether it’s a black tie affair or a more rustic, modern venue like Heaton House Farm. 
Where’s your go-to place for dresses?  Do you have any “rules” about what to wear and what not to wear to weddings?

    Super cute dress options! I've gotten a LOT of cute dresses from Ross to be honest with you. Attending weddings (and wedding related events) really add up quickly – so I try to stay within a $100 budget for my entire outfit. Thankfully I've amassed quite a collection of dress shoes, so I only have to get the dress!

    As for rules for wedding attire – I always go with the following:
    – NEVER wear an all white/cream/off-white outfit
    – Nothing too low cut (if it can be helped)
    – Nothing too short
    – Nothing too casual (avoid denim, unless you know the theme of the wedding is going to be casual)

    Such cute options! The emerald and floral one are both favorites. I say keep it simple, patterned and a bright color so you can let the bride shine in her white 🙂
