If you follow me on instagram, you know I recently  moved my barcart to a different location in the dining room.  I really feel the new location makes our place feel so much bigger.  Isn’t it weird how that happens?

The new location is always in view from the living room, and it has me thinking about what I need to add to it to make it perfect.

I think every bar cart should start with the items above.  I feel they are the perfect foundation for a fantastic barcart.  Once you get really good at making fancy cocktails, you can add some more sophisticated tools, but these will have you looking like you know what you’re doing, even if you don’t.

Do you have a bar cart?  Do you have any “essentials” that I might have missed?

I love straws like that! I also like the idea of having a cocktail book, kinda like a coffee table book.

I don't have a bar cart but I have a credenza and my staple there is my high-heeled shoe wine bottle holder! 🙂

This is great! I'm thinking of surprising my husband with a bar cart of some sort–we recently "inherited" a huge collection of booze too large for our tiny above-the-exhaust-hood cabinet that had been storing our one bottle of whiskey.. This gives me some great ideas!
